We had such a blast at our Back to School Night BBQ this year! With perfect weather, Lake Alum (and current North HS freshman) DJ Nevaeh, tons of amazing potluck dishes, Lake staff behind the grill, and over 500 people in attendance, it was a truly wonderful night with our Lake Family. Special thanks to Little Man Ice Cream for donating and serving ice cream, and to the following community partners who celebrated a new school year with us, including: Rude Recreation Center, Project Exodus, Colorado Uplift, NW Washington DC Trip, Denver Children’s Choir, City Year, Johnson Boys and Girls Club, Rodolfo Gonzalez Library, Denver Health, Spirit of the Sun, DPS Family and Community Engagement Center, Stand for Children.
